Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Service Technician to support FM Equipment Rentals maintenance programme. You will perform planned services, troubleshoot breakdowns, complete job cards, and communicate clearly with drivers and site representatives.
Safety, housekeeping, and accurate documentation are essential parts of the job.
Responsibilities
- Execute PPM and corrective maintenance on generators, compressors, and associated equipment.
- Read wiring diagrams and technical manuals; use diagnostic tools where applicable.
- Complete digital or paper job cards with findings, parts used, and hours.
- Support field mobilisation and demobilisation checks.
- Follow lock-out/tag-out and workshop HSE rules without exception.
- Participate in on-call rotation for urgent service as rostered.
Qualifications
- Technical diploma or ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, or Heavy Equipment.
- 3+ years hands-on experience with industrial engines, alternators, or compressed air systems.
- UAE experience preferred; valid UAE driving license is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in summer conditions with appropriate PPE.
Preferred
- Manufacturer training on major engine or compressor brands.
- Basic welding or fabrication skills for minor repairs.
