Case Study

Mobilisation Narrative

Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) at Dubai World Central combines passenger terminal, cargo gateway, airside civils, and landside precinct works under strict airport access and HSE controls. FM Rental supplied diesel generators with distribution for terminal MEP and construction compounds, LED lighting towers for overnight airside and landside works, compaction plant for hardstandings and approach roads, and boom lifts for façade and plant-room access on terminal and cargo envelopes.

Deliveries followed airport traffic plans and gate inductions so plant cleared emergency routes, aircraft tow paths, and passenger interfaces. Fuel containment and spill kits matched Dubai Airports and contractor method statements; field engineers covered first energisation of temporary boards serving successive terminal and cargo zones.

When packages extended across cargo and passenger fronts, hire amendments kept inducted serial numbers on site so QA and induction records stayed continuous. Off-hire tracked each work-front handover so plant cleared before operational areas reopened to airside and public traffic.
