Mobilisation Narrative

The Dubai Mall and its Downtown Dubai interfaces demand hire plant that can work around live retail, entertainment attractions, and public realm without disrupting guest flow. FM Rental supplied diesel generators with distribution boards and cabling for fit-out and MEP packages, boom and scissor lifts for atrium and plant-room access, and lighting for overnight works when mall trading hours resumed the next morning.

Machine placement and cable routes were agreed with the facilities and HSE teams so emergency egress, service corridors, and attraction interfaces stayed clear. Fuel containment and spill response followed the precinct method statements; field engineers covered first energisation of temporary boards serving successive retail shells.

When campaign fit-outs overlapped across floors, hire amendments kept inducted serial numbers on site so access and power records stayed continuous for the main contractor and landlord QA packs. Off-hire tracked each shell handover so plant demobilised before public opening of the unit.
