Programme Summary
Temporary power, lighting, compaction, and access plant for leisure, marina, and infrastructure packages across Yas Island.
Mobilisation Narrative
Yas Island’s mixed-use build-out — circuit precincts, entertainment venues, marina interfaces, hotels, and supporting infrastructure — needs hire plant that can scale across multiple packages without blocking guest or race-week logistics. FM Rental supplied diesel generators with distribution for shell and MEP works, LED lighting towers for overnight civils, compaction plant for roads and hardstandings, and boom lifts for façade and plant-room access on venue and hospitality envelopes.
Deliveries were sequenced to island traffic plans and gate rules so machines cleared emergency routes and marina approaches. Fuel containment and spill response followed developer and contractor HSE packs; field engineers covered first energisation when outdoor compounds and temporary boards came live ahead of commissioning windows.
When packages overlapped across entertainment and hotel fronts, hire amendments kept inducted serial numbers on site so QA records stayed continuous. Off-hire tracked each package handover so plant demobilised before public and hospitality interfaces opened.
