Programme Summary
Temporary power, lighting, compaction, and access plant for mega-terminal, airside, and landside packages in the Al Maktoum International Airport expansion at DWC.
Mobilisation Narrative
The Al Maktoum International Airport expansion scales Dubai World Central into a multi-runway mega-hub with new passenger terminal capacity, airside civils, cargo interfaces, and supporting landside precincts. FM Rental supplied diesel generators with distribution for terminal MEP and construction compounds, LED lighting towers for overnight airside and landside works, compaction plant for hardstandings and approach roads, and boom lifts for façade and plant-room access on terminal and satellite envelopes.
Deliveries followed airport traffic plans and gate inductions so plant cleared emergency routes, aircraft tow paths, and passenger interfaces as packages advanced. Fuel containment and spill kits matched Dubai Airports and contractor method statements; field engineers covered first energisation of temporary boards serving successive terminal, cargo, and precinct zones.
When packages overlapped across airside and landside fronts, hire amendments kept inducted serial numbers on site so QA and induction records stayed continuous. Off-hire tracked each work-front handover so plant cleared before operational areas reopened to airside and public traffic.
