Programme Summary
Temporary power, access lifts, and site support for landmark tower construction and fit-out at Dubai Frame in Zabeel Park.
Mobilisation Narrative
Dubai Frame’s twin towers and observation bridge in Zabeel Park sit beside live parkland and dense city interfaces, so temporary plant must respect public realm and programme windows. FM Rental supplied diesel generators with distribution boards and cabling for shell and MEP packages, boom and scissor lifts for façade and plant-room access on the frame structure, and lighting for overnight works when park visitor hours resumed the next day.
Machine placement and cable routes were agreed with the site electrical engineer so emergency egress, park paths, and guest-arrival corridors stayed clear. Fuel containment and spill response followed the precinct HSE file; field engineers attended first energisation of temporary boards serving successive structural and fit-out zones.
When cladding and observation-deck packages overlapped, hire amendments kept inducted serial numbers on site so access and power records stayed continuous for the main contractor’s QA pack. Off-hire tracked each handover so plant cleared before public opening.
