Programme Summary
Temporary power, lighting, compaction, and access plant for Blue Line station and corridor packages linking Creek, Festival City, Creek Harbour, and Academic City.
Mobilisation Narrative
Dubai Metro Blue Line packages add elevated and underground stations across Ras Al Khor, International City, Silicon Oasis, and Academic City, with interchanges at Creek (Green Line) and Centrepoint (Red Line). FM Rental supplied diesel generators with distribution for station MEP and casting works, LED lighting towers for overnight civils, compaction plant for approach roads and hardstandings, and boom lifts for soffit and façade access on station envelopes.
Deliveries followed the contractor’s traffic management plan so plant did not block emergency lanes or industrial and residential interfaces along the corridor. Fuel containment and spill kits matched the rail-corridor HSE file; service cover stayed available on peak pour and paving nights when downtime would have slipped the programme.
When station packages extended by a week, hire amendments kept the same inducted serial numbers on site so QA and induction records stayed continuous. Off-hire tracked each work-front handover so plant cleared before passenger and interchange interfaces reopened.
