Programme Summary
Temporary power, lighting, compaction, and access plant for national freight-rail corridor and facilities packages across the UAE.
Mobilisation Narrative
Etihad Rail’s national freight network stretches across desert corridors, industrial spurs, and port interfaces with long linear work fronts and tight mobilisation windows. FM Rental supplied diesel generators with distribution for camps, casting yards, and MEP compounds, LED lighting towers for overnight track and civils works, compaction plant for access roads and hardstandings, and boom lifts for bridge, gantry, and facilities access.
Deliveries followed corridor traffic plans and remote-site logistics so plant cleared emergency routes and construction haul roads. Fuel containment and spill kits matched contractor HSE packs for desert and industrial interfaces; service cover stayed available on peak pour and track-works nights when downtime would have slipped the programme.
When packages extended across successive chainages, hire amendments kept inducted serial numbers on site so QA and induction records stayed continuous. Off-hire tracked each work-front handover so plant cleared before corridor handover and operational windows.
